Aftermarket Fist mic to fixed VHF

Hello,

I have wired up a Impact fist mic for my old Garmin 200i VHF but the mic doesn't seem to be working. I believe this is due to the mic not being the correct impedance for the VHF. I have heard that people had have to put a resistor in the fist mic to make it compatible with the VHF.

Not sure on what the Garmin 200i impedance is and have asked Garmin and they aren't able to give me that information.

Has anyone had to do this before or know how to solve the issue?

Many thanks

Does this help?

It's in the spec sheet in the manual.

Thank you but I don't think any of them are for the microphone?
