Avon Searider Console Question

I am building a new Avon Searider 5.4 with a factory console, to be suitable for fast offshore work. I am looking for any ideas and recommendations as to what I should be installing instrument wise. Is there a small GPS / sounder / VHF all in one unit / screen that can be flush mounted into the console?

Does anyone have similar that they can post pictures of?

Thanks for any help,

Ray

Sounds interesting. i take it you mean Zodiac Searider if it's a new one you're buying. Standard Horizon do a fixed VHF which you can flush mount with built in AIS and GPS. No depth, but you could fit a small fuel-gauge sized depth sounder:

Simrad do a complete flush unit. Vhf, gps and nmea2000. No ais or sounder though.

Don’t think your gonna get an all in one unit though.

All in one

I have been recommended a Garmin 75 CV with a GT20TM transducer and a Garmin VHF300i. Apparently it will all link together?
