Blank grommets
After re-engine the rib I'm left with four holes where the old gauges were. Does anyone have a source of blanking grommets as I think that would be the best solution unless there's a better option.

May be useful to see a pic if you can sort it Mate
You could always put a Coated plate, fibreglass or stainless over the top of them all Billy..then work away as usuall if you need to install anything.

A mate of mine has changed gauges and has holes in his console so bought a bit of flat pre made GRP with orange gel coat and made a new full plate over the lot. I haven't seen it yet but he's happy with it.

I think this, or some nice laser / waterjet cut brushed ally or carbon fibre would be the better way to go!

You could fit plastic vents don't know how many you got but fit say two vents and two polished ss discs or fit speakers? Or one big plate with boat name etched on it I have a plastic plate at the Back of my chart plotter which look s--t so I got a piece of black composite plate to change it out you can see the Woven cloth which looks sports car ish
Regards jeff

Yep I agree with Jeff ....
Could also go with piece of shaped SS plate if you like...powder coated and bolted nicely and Stagged in place...look good & won't be going anywhere!....and take that west coast weather!
Got a Mate in the Fabrication game...if you want I'll ask him for a price.
Just thought I may be able to get a FG (in yellow) off cut next time I'm over at Ribcraft??

Blank grommets
I had a similar problem when I got rid of the twin setup.
One of my options was to make a stainless plate to the desired size, wrap it in textured carbon fibre vinyl then get it lacquered.
Someone on here did it with wood effect vinyl to great effect.
Il see if I can find the thread.

Blank grommets
Here we go, sorry to the poster for stealing his picture.
Looks sweet.
You wouldn't need to do the whole dash like he has, just a rectangle to cover the holes.
Simple yet very effective.
