I used a leisure battery on mine and it was fine-the starter doesn't need shedloads of power on a 50hp 2 stroke.

I've only got a 37AH battery on my 50HP Yamaha (electric start) and that is fine.

I was using a 57 AH on a 90 2 st with no problems but have recently changed to a "proper" 85 AH marine battery.

So I guess a 100 is very OTT on a 50hp

I ran a 55HP Triple cylinder Suzuki 2-Stroke from a very small Halfords car battery for 3 years without an issue.

I can't remember the AH rating but it was very small I think @40AH

Cheapest one from Halfords

I used the cheapest one I could get from Halfords on my 90hp 2 stroke with no problems.
