Boat Rewire
Hi, I need a reference to a book which will help me to rewire my boat. It is a rats nest and I need to install a new power panel. I think I know what to do but I would like to see some diagrams and insight. It is a 39' sail.
thanks

I was in Queens Ann battery, Plymouth a while back and went in the Sea Chest book shop. Very good for new and old nautical books. They had a few on boat electrics, one was about 2" thick
They are very helpfull, give them a call.

A good source for cable and Blue Sea parts is Merlin Equipment - get the Marine grade cable - it'll last! Also go to Wurth or elsewhere and buy the glue/heatshrink crimp connectors that seal the end of the cable - it's what we use on all of our boat.

Sounds like excellent advise for "msavalla" Cookee, I reckon he should fly into Heathrow, get the tube to Waterloo, express to Poole then grab a cab to Merlin!
