Broken petrol tank sender connection... help

Trap door in floor covering petrol tank sender + connections has broke the small metal connector on the sender. Now for obvious reasons the petrol gauge is not working . Do I have to buy a new sender or can I get the bits ???? All help appreciated

if it's the basic sender you can just get a new one, thinkin it's the ground that broke, you could rerivit it, if it's a stainless or ALu' can you could put and eyelit on the wire and bolt it to the sendin unit with one of the mounting bolts and it should make the ground,
the first one hear would be best, becareful, No positve power to the tank
EVER, none, just ground, and the sender, the power or the red to the pos+
side of the guage only, EVER, the tank Should be grounded as well as the filler neck.
good ribin
