Got a mail from jeppsen- c-map the other day.
They have launched a new iPad/iPhone/android plotter with c-map cartography, it's called plan2nav.
It is a free down load, though you can upgrade to better charts, for a fee!
Personally, I have navionics on my phone and iPad already but find this better/easier to use! Really good function for basic route planning and distance measurement and a neat way of panning your view.

All in all, I think it's a really handy little tool and well worth sticking on the iPad & iPhone.
