Can you hook a fish finder up to an inflatable boat?

Just bought a sevylor inflatable boat, and was wondering if you can put a fish finder or gps in it.

The portable fishfinder is good for you , but you need 12 volt power for any type. you can also get one that mounts on a motor. get a hand held gps. Tips About Portable fish finders
check amazon.com, WestMarine or BasProShop.

Sure you can mount a sonar. I have put a sonar, bilde pump, running lights and a bunch of other things on mine and adapted a battery case to hold the switch/fuse panel and sonar for easy removal from the boat. There's a pic in the inflatable section under Can I mount a sonar to my inflatable.

The smiley makes me wonder if this is a troll post...

Why would an inflatable be any different than any other boat with a fishfinder? Depending on how the bottom is constructed (and access to it), you may be limited to an in-water transducer (normally transom mount, but you may not have a transom), but sure, it's doable. Take a look at the portable Humminbird units (though I hate Humminbird as a brand.) Eagle may make a portable unit as well. You'll probably have to kludge up a method to mount the transducer.

GPS doesn't really care what kind of platform it's on as long as it has power and a view of the sky.
