I've come to the conclusion that i'll have to buy 6.5" (Originall had 6") to get a decent set of speakers. Not a problem as I have the space to cut the extra half inch.

I think i'll go for the above as I they have built in tweeters. Can anyone recommend these? Are they a decent price? Can anyone get me anything better for that price, or see a place with those speakers for cheaper?

I also can't see if these are 4/8 Ohm. Currently have 4Ohm and they work so guess I have to stick fo 4Ohm?

Cheers in advance

I'm actually going to go for these, they claim 75wRMS (Although another site says 60w RMS) but even at 60w RMS it's fine for me I reckon. I can get them for £76 delivered all in (I'm in Ireland so extra delivery). Even from the US they work out almost the same price, so I reckon I won't do better than that

Alt,

I don't think you will get what you expect out of those speakers.

I think those cans are the way to go but they are mega expensive. If I was you unless you want to buy the cans stick with the speakers you have. I think you'll be disapointed with those you've shown.

IMHO for what its worth.

Nick - Which ones? The Clarion or the JBL's? They can't get worse than the ones I have ATM... they're the 'unbranded' ones. Oh, and one blew 2 weeks ago, the other blew 1 week ago
