DSC talks

We here (ICOM) offer free talks on DSC and GMDSS

We found a great deal of dis-infomation in all the boating press.
So we put together an informative talk on:-
what DSC is.
How it effects the lesuire boater.
And all stuff like that

If you are part of a club,
If you need to fill a night,
If no one else can help
Maybe you can hire the A team!!

Or even invite us a long

Regards

Hi Jon

Have Icom got a budget DSC coming out as the 601 is expensive
compared to some others on the market. Even though I'm sure its far superior to the others.

ICOM Budget DSC

I think it is fair to say you get what you pay for. I have tried other makes on my previous RIBs and have always had problems after about year 2. My Icom hand helds though are 100% fine even though they get soaking and dropped sometimes.

Sorry no discount for Ribnet user's.

Wish I could but it would really tick off my dealers.
I may look in to a deal through a dealer.

Watch this space.

I have to say when you look at what you get for your money with the M601 I think that it is priced ok.

Fully waterproof (warranty for 3 years)
Good size screen, easy to use, easy to see.
Loud hailer and foghorn built in.

Optional dual station (not much good on a Rib thoug!)

At this time there is no plan for a budget all in one.

Best regards

Jon,

Do you have any set dates / locations for these talks or is it done on an ad hoc basis. Also how long are the talks please.

Just quite curious even though you are miles from me....

Pete

We have no set dates or locations.
We will visit anywhere in the UK.
If it is miles away I tend to tie it in with my dealer visits.
So far have visited Yatch club, fishing clubs.

We will go anywhere there is an interest.

Hope that helps
