Eagle / Lowrance cables

Bit of a longshot, but does anyone know if the black and white Lowrance (basic) fishfinders power and data cables are the same as /compatible with Eagle (Magna) leads??

We have depth on the SH plotter, but also use a basic B&W sounder which the survey officers use to record depth at each survey site. The LCD screen has lost some of its 'lines' so we need to replace it (second one to do this). Will pull out and rewire a new transducer and power cable if required, but if we could just plug in a newer Eagle OR Lowrance head unit it would save a lot of phaffing about! Are they all the same for both (same??) brands and same for older magna as newer Eagle models.....????
