Etec I-command.

One of my I-command gauges has given up on life and they are obsolete.

The generic nmea displays seem to be as expensive as a small plotter 300-400. Has anyone had any luck with cheaper 2.5inch nmea displays or with not using gauges and just relying on a plotter.

I always have rpm, trim, water pressure, engine temp on the display that’s died. I’d also prefer the option to winterise through the display if possible.

Thanks. GT

You can winterise without using the I-command. There’s a sequence using the ignition & fast idle. I used to use the plotter for engine info. If your plotter is Lowrance, they are Etec friendly & show fault codes iirc.

Or laptop. I could live without the physical buttons I suppose.

It’s easy to make too, I have the pin-outs somewhere.
