Fishfinder

Good evening.
Can anybody advise me on the most practical fish finder/gps set up please. I have a Excel that I inflate each time before use with 9.9 outboard.

Thank you

I’ve just put a Lowrance Hook2 on mine, but I’ve had to build a battery pack & fit a charging kit to the engine. There are rechargeable units out there. Lowrance make one.

Welcome to the forum Edward.

We all have a variant of a common setup slightly biased to a daily setup or trailer use. My sib is use as a daily setup and this is the thread re my choice and fitting process...

I can't fault the Garmin but others like alternative brands.

We just use a little Garmin Echomap Plus 45cv Combi unit powered up by a 20a 12v Li-ion battery in a ‘sarni’ box under the seat. Lasts for days. Downside is small screen, but ok as a portable unit for the sib
