Fuel sender for Garmin ?

Hi bought a Garmin 550s for Rib,getting boat ready for next season,no fuel gauge, was another problem after taking some advice splashed out on Navman 2100 fuel Gauge and inline sender, faily expensive but there you go,talking with friends someone said Garmin did there own sender which would fit into Garmin plotter but dont know where to get one, and so far have not asked Garmin themselves, interested but might kick myself if they do make one ?

Seems there is:

https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?...561#featureTab

However:

"[Note: GPSMAP 4xx and 5xx series units require a CANet™ kit to complete the connection

Not sure without checking if you engine has Smartcraft, but if it does it would just need a sensor.

No smarcraft ,good engine but not all singing dancing type, that’s why I went for Navman gauge and sender.
CANet™ kit seems an expensive way to go for me at this stsge ,but thanks for info
