Garmin 238 Sounder - Transducer Bracket Needed

Hi Guys,

The bracket on my transducer for my garmin has broken. I spoke to Garmin and I can only buy the whole transducer which is going to be around £50...

Its a long shot - but I was wondering if anyone had one they'd be willing to sell?

The part number is : 010-10272-00

If not, I shall buy one... but thought I'd ask here first.

Thanks

Ben

Hope that Matt's offer fixes your problem.

If not, the Garmin transducers are OEM manufactured by AIRMAR. AIRMAR make a stainless steel sprung hinged bracket part 20-035) which they sell separately and allows you to hinge up the transducer when launching / recovering; or springs up if you hit an obstacle. I purchased one a couple of years ago from their EU Distributor in Finland (no-one in UK could recognise the part #) after breaking one of the standard plastic brackets and it is an excellent piece of kit. I seem to recall it cost about 25€ at the time.

I spoke to Garmin, apparently its the same one!

Is it just the bracket you have? or the whole unit?

How much do you want for it?

Cheers

Ben
