Garmin 292C - laptop connection

At least I think it's a 292C.

Does anyone know how to connect to a BlueChart Garmin with a laptop. I've got a load of waypoints I want to upload but I can't be bothered to sit there for hours punching them in on the boat.

Thanks in advance

Phil

PS. Think I've posted this in the wrong place, but not sure how to move?

my hand held unit it's an 86cmap has a cable (sold seperatly) that conects the GPS to the computer. With that I can up load/down load maps and way points freely and easily. I don't know if your unit has the down load port on it or not though. Mine is a round plug about a 1/2" round with 6 metal prongs.

Send a message via MSN to Millermob
