Garmin ECHOMAP 95sv

I have to replace my old Garmin 750
Thinking of a ECHOMap 95sv any comments on this unit.

Not too bad, I did the same when my 750 died. Lowrance is far better but the Garmin is a touch quicker updating, handy for positioning on wrecks etc

I'd still say the touch screen is nearly useless unless you happen to be sat on the boat in the marina on a dry day though.

Happy with mine. Use touch screen in the Marina. When underway I use the buttons to zoom in or out.

Had ours a year and very good - when stationary screen is good. Really like the quick release and screen removal. sales@cactusnav.com - were very helpful sorting out the best fittings and transducer. Using a Applemac for updates - Garmin posted out a SD Card.

Change of plan because I have Garmin radar it has to be GPSMAP thinking of a 722 xs
mind you I never really use the radar it came with the Rib
