Garmin GPSMap 292C - Info required

I'm thinking of buying a Garmin GPSMap 292C chart plotter for my RIB and was wondering if anyone else here has one.

The going rate seems to be around £450 including UK charts.

Does anyone have any experience of this chart plotter and if so would you recommend it?
Are there any other plotters I should look at in this price range?

Looking forwards to any info/feedback before I splash my cash!

Mark

I have had one for just about 1 year and really pleased with it - very easy to use and clear colours. Obviously a larger screen ( and more £$£$£'s) would be better but the 292 fits well on most rib consoles.
The main downside for me is the "anti reflective" coating which even with a lot of care gets water marks and I think is deteriorating with some patchiness

One downside/upside I had was that my original screen failed ( 1/2 greyed out) - this was the model without the in-built UK maps ( not available last March) ....... Garmin sent me a replacement in 2 days; complete with the g2 charts preloaded
Big question - would I buy another .... yes , but I do like Garmin products so I may not be entirely neutral
