Garmin plotter/GPS

Back light v dim but still working. It's on max setting. Do they have bulbs at the back? Can they be fixed? Is it common?

try Daniel on here, he seems to be well up on the electronics kit, I know the navmans have a tube built into the pcb, don't know about the Garmins but guess depends on age as to wether it's worth the repair bill

Does yours have the automatic night mode operation? Could the sensor have failed or be blocked?

Not sure, will have to have a look when we pull it out, the boat that is. Be out in a few weeks.

If you know the model number you can find the manual online and see if it has the day/night mode.
