Garmin vhf100i replacment coil wire

Hello
I have a Garmin vhf100i that the coiled wire (goes to the mic from the head unit) coating is falling off/perished. Is there any way of replacing just the wire?
Thanks for any help

Ebay listings for 'radio coiled cable' might be worth a look but I've no idea if any of them would be suitable for a rewire of your radio.
Probably depend on how many cores you would need, whether your ends can be taken apart & put back together & how good your soldering is.

I had one with this fault,
Asked Garmin about repairing/replacing it, they don't.
Bought a new radio.
