Thanks, not sure what the thread is, it might be M3 but I don't have anything I know is M3 to compare it with to be certain (it's exactly 3mm with my calipers). I've ordered a pair of new lights anyway so I'll steal a screw out of those and I've still got everything else spare for when one falls to bits, which by the sound of it is quite likely

If it measures 3mm with calipers & it's Italian, chances are that it's M3. If you get stuck, I can sort you something out.
