Humminbird Piranha And standard Horizon GPS

I REALLY COULD LAUGH,,,,,,,,,,,stripped it all down ,both working,never gonna use them again with a single batt,its crap,tried 2 full charged 12 v bats from them car starter units and nothing,total crap,tried them on 2 small alarm batts,hey presto,,,,,,,,,so don t use them crap units for £25.00 dudes

Are you sure they are dead? (ie. have you tried them with a totally independent power source and eliminated all the wiring). Am I right in thinking you are just running these from a battery (and not charging off the engine?). In which case its difficult to see how you could supply too much voltage? My money would be on a dodgy connection somewhere...

crazy battery, soon as you plug things into it it works then don t,straight in the bin with them,lol

Yes mate,was very scary £460.00 pound scary,lol, just gotta think of a waterproof box for it,have used lunch box's before but there not the greatest, once a hole has been made for the leads
