icom 421 + garmin 298c

Just looking for some new stuff for the rib this season, anyone know the cheapest place to get an icom mc421 and a garmin 298c sounder or similar. Any info greatly appreciated. Freddie

the icom cheapest is around 199 and 20 quid for the flushfitting kit, port solent marine have them for this in store and is as cheap as else where on the web

they also do the 178c garmin for 500/520, they may be cheapest for the garmin you list
give them a try

Is it worth going for the 292/298c???? or just go for the 178c sounder.

roycruse can give you a view on the 178c as he has used his a fair bit now, seems like a good bit of kit, screen could be bigger but then it would be more expensive, catch 22. nice bit of kit
