Icom 601

Yet another wiring question.

In the instructions for wiring up the NMEA plug for the back of the icom m601 there is a picture of the plug and it says where to put each wire.

Is this picture looking from the side that you stick the wires in or from the side that you stick into the radio, if you know what I mean???
