Icom dsc transmitting in USA mode

I wonder if anyone can help me as bet its something very simple, but I've had a quick look through the icom manual and can't quite figure out what I need to do....

I was out in the solent yesterday for the day, the icom radio worked fine to get out of the marina in Hythe, then down to Newtown Creek, the Folly and back to Hythe.. but on the way in to Hythe, the Hythe marina people could here me calling on channel 80, but we couldn't hear them calling us back.... on looking at the radio.. it looks like we're stuck in US mode... does anyone know how to change it back very simply?

Dave

Which icom is it? I've got a 421 and it's covered in the manual as I've done it before. From memory it's holding 2 buttons down, but I can't read the manual at the mo to confirm which ones as I've just had eye surgery.

I have 2 ICOMS and the change from INT to USA is in the manual right at the beginning section 3.

Push [CH.DUAL] ant then up arrow or down arrow to select the group.

I think the 421 is the same setup now GaryC posted that.

Will do on the eye surgery. New one just coming up.
