icom m32

Bought a m32 as a backup handheld, but it never seems to hold a charge.Week or so and its dead even with no use.
So charged it overnight and this morning ,now wont even turn on. Just clicks continualy out of the speaker.
Couple of questions; whats the normal charge time for this radio.?
Secondly do you think its the hot weather over here draining it, or do I just have a dud battery pack?
Cheers Dal

I think thats one of the radios with no real on/off switch - it's just a standby mode. The only real solution is to take the battery out when your not using it.

Mr Codprawn is spot on.
The M31/32 has a soft on off switch which always drwas current so if left off with battery in place it will drain the battery over a period of about 3 weeks.

Cheers
