Icom M33 not receiving
Bought myself an Icom m33 last week, the bloke I bought it off had only taken it out of the box (not one scratch). As I live in Warsash, I can hear VTS absolutely fine, but on first real use today It was not receiving anything over 100 or so metres away, on any channel. Transmitting seemed ok though. I've seen some stuff online about problems with IF filters etc, but would rather ask before I send it off to Icom.
I checked the squelch and It was on 3 out of ten, so was wondering if anyone had experienced anything like this before?
Any help/guidance would be really appreciated, or if anyone could shine a light on someone who could take a look at it in the Hamble/ Southampton area that would be great
