iPhone 4 Waterproof case

Much as I loathe modern tech, my moby provider is offering a free upgrade to the iPhone, a lot of mates now have this gizmo and rave on endlessly about apps and all manner of cobblers that this will do.
As its free and will replace the almost totally discredited bag of old beige pants that is the "Land Rover S1" tough phone does anyone know of a better waterproof case than this?

LifeProof case review

There do seem to be loads of cases for iPhones that alledge toughness etc but dip out on the water/splash proof catergory.

P.S. Not too interested in ziploc bags know about them already.....

I've got a Peli case for my iP4...It looks rugged in the same sense as Peli cases but it's on the bulky side. It's also only described as water resistant as it has the abolity for headphone connection through the case. I don't use the iP4 on the boat so the Peli works for me

I've got the Otter box, not sold as waterproof but I've had the phone in it for 12 months out on site, on the boat, camping, hill walking etc & it's still going strong & the phone is like new inside.

Swim coach at the local pool has the Lifeproof case and has been filming the kids swim stroke from under water to help them work on technique. If I had and iPhone, that's case I would have. Smaller than an Otterbox and some other "rugged" cases; you would never need to take it out.

The iDry looks good and cheap, Lifeproof looks a bit more fitted and as said no need to out once in, I like tough stuff just a shame the Sonim promised so much and did not deliver, amazingly you see them around for big money.

I used one of these for my 3Gs on the motorbike and thought it was excellent.

Motorcycle Case Mount Kit with Battery Charger for Apple iPhone 4

Ridden through some pretty monsoon like conditions and no water got in. The hardwire kit is excellent, especially if you are using any navigations apps which eat the battery.

bloody typical, the day after extolling the virtues of the Otterbox (though I did say it wasn't waterproof) My phone drops out of my overalls into the sh1t (literally, I was on a waste water site) & is now an ex iphone. New one being delivered tomorrow
