Not used this site yet, but planning to once I get an A-frame made:
http://www.boatshop.com.au/category2_1.htm
Shipped from Oz for $15 Oz dollars (about £6.50) and only about £20 for both the port and starboard. VAT and import should be minimal on this amount (£5 maybe)

I think you have to go through the nearest dealer or I can get them for you and post them up to you if you like?

Quite why some people charge so much for LED lights is beyond me - those Australian prices are much more sensible!!!

I fitted my boat with Hella LED navigation lights which are made in New Zealand
Used them in high density fog recently as driving across mountain roads on my way from Akureyri (north coast) to Reykjavik

Possibly not - the British lights are incredibly well engineered works of art - the problem is do we really NEED incredibly well engineered works of art just to light up our boats???

Let us know how you get on with that stuff - It's probably not CE approved so we won't be fitting it though!

It may well be CE marked, as some of the same products appear here on the ASAP site:

Bought a pair of Stainless finished LED Nav lights from an Austrailian Ebay company, I'm very impressed with these lights and are marked USCG and COLREG 2NM delivery was 4 days. Price was 45 Aus$

I had a look at these people too and being a bit of a pikey, thought that $60 + postage was a little expensive

This is not a criticism, just a comment. I know that the requirement for visibility of small boat nav lights is 2 nautical miles but are you happy for a large boat to need to be only 2 miles away when you get seen?
