LGC-3000 aerials

Anybody have a supplier of these now JKmaxx are defunct?
I suspect mine has given up the ghost and they don't seem to be readily available in the UK that I can find?

I had a bunch of problems with the LGC-2000; the 3000 seems to be fairly reliable. Before springing for a new one, make sure it's not the cabling or terminators between the head unit and the antenna; the red network cables Lowrance uses are somewhat dodgy when it comes to keeping water out.

As far as a supplier, I can't help you there, sorry.

Try John at Ribstuff.com. I think the LGC3000 is standard on all the Evinrude E-tec engines with I-command. He normally has them on the web well below rrp.

Send a message via Skype™ to kwil
Hasn't the LGC 3000 now been superceded by the LGC 4000 at 16 channel unit?
Which could be why the one advertised is cheap.

Well, they're shipping the 4000 with the new generation head units (HDS, etc); don't know if the unit itself needs to be able to use the newer antenna (don't see why this should be, as the NMEA words should be the same.)

Low price I see on a 4000 is $225 US
Low price on a 3000 is $180. (both searches quick and dirty.)

Not a huge difference.
