Lowrance XOG

Would like to buy the Lowrance XOG as a back up for in the boat (have the 7000C) and for in the car.
http://www.lowrance.com/Products/Outdoors/XOG/
It's a Crossover Road-Trail-Water GPS Navigation.
For the Netherlands the Navionics Land & Sea Chart BN25 would fit into it. On this chart are streets and waterways.

My question:
Is the Lowrance XOG for sale in Europe? If not will it be? Will it work with the Navionics Land & Sea Charts?
Have send a mail to Lowrance, but an answer will take ages.

According to the manual (under Support on the link you referenced), the unit only uses Nauticpath charts, not Navionics. Nauticpath only covers the US.

the highlighted statement is incorrect. NauticPath™ International provides electronic charts covering the East and West coasts of Canada, the Caribbean, West Central America, South America, Europe West , Europe North, Mediterranean, Africa/Middle East/India, Southeast Asia/Pacific Islands, Australia/New Zealand, and Japan/East Asia!

Europe West covers the whole of the UK and a fair bit of continental Europe.

Well, I was going from the statements made in the XOG users manual from the Lowrance website.

To wit:

"NauticPath™ USA Marine Electronic Charts
NauticPath™ USA map cards show offshore/coastal navigational detail.
This plug and play map card provides electronic charts covering the
U.S. East and West coasts, Hawaii, Gulf coast, Great Lakes, Alaska,
the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
NauticPath features depth contours, intertidal zones and spot soundings,
navigational aids with view range and coverage. Extensive objectoriented
detail can be viewed, including list of lights, tides and currents,
wrecks and obstructions, marine services, restricted areas and
anchorage database information."

Granted, it does not exclude international charts (which I inferred.)

Navionics is not mentioned at all in the manual. It is, as has been posted, mentioned in the product specs.

Sorry for the mislead.
