This is a re badge of another product, can't remember who at the mo.
There are better radio's out there for not a lot more money.
Also I think it only has a 1 year warranty where there are a number of products out there with 3 years now.
Biggest down side of this kind of unit is the fact that most of the keys are on the mic.
I have seen over the years that the mic cable can be a week link, they get a lot of abuse and can and do fail.
If it fails you loose all those function.
Hope that helps a bit
Best regards

If your going to go that route wait for the review in PBO ( Practical Boat Owner), should be out about the 7th Dec.
The Navman 7200 is looked at.
Whilst this in the remote station radio the basic radio is the same as the 7100
Makes a very interesting read!!! enough said

Would not be over worried.
The group test found some niggles/dislikes and found that other sets performed better in certain area's.
If you were going to buy now the review may make you consider splashing out a few pounds (and its only a few) more for better back lighting, better audio, bigger display, clearer display and bigger tactile controls.
I tend to take more notice of group test as they give a better cross section view rather than one persons view.
All the best
