Map source problems
I am running mapsource 4.07 on my laptop with a handheld garmin emap for gps input and experincing a few problems: -
1) In the tracking mode if I cross the map with any other tool other than the pointer it comes up with an error and automatically shuts down.
2) When I try to plot a track it updates every second and displays a thick yellow line plus the boat keeps flashing up the recorded track. I would prefer a pencil type line constantly displayed and updated less frequently say every minute
3) Finally is it posible to plot present position with the press of a key, it can be very difficult to postion the curser over the boat sometimes when it is rolling about.
Ideally I would like to run the latest version of mapsource but when I downloaded it from the internet I see that the GPS plane is missing. Not sure what that is all about.
I really would like to get this working because the charts are very good
