Why not buy yourself a smart gauge that will give you all the info you want. Speak to nearest dealer to ensure you get compatibility right. I have them with my new Merc and they are the best gauges I've ever had.

Came as a package with the new Ob I got two of them. They are direct to engine but there's the capability of nmea. As I sad give Cammy a ring he's easy to talk to

Faria (who apparently make OEM dials) make multifunction items and smartcraft equivalents.
Caution, you may get carried away with the choices and US fuel gauges use different resistances to European ones

Another option when having little room on console is to have a muti-function chart plotter with the engine wired to it giving you every conceivable gauge reading for your engine. I'm sure your engine has a smart interface cable available (NMEA 2000). You could kill more than a couple of birds with one stone.

Another member just found new Simrad GO7 XSE with totalscan transducer selling for £405 delivered.

It has a slew of other functions with a touch screen including a bluetooth music controller if that floats your boat. It's also waterproof and getting good reviews.

Good question, I'm not too familiar with Mariner engines but I'm sure it's the same cable as a Mercury. Speak to a Mariner dealer to get the part number. I'm sure you can plug straight into the back of the chartplotter as you most likely will not be connecting any other nmea2000 into it but if you do then you can add a simple network hub with T-connectors.

You could buy it from a dealer (££) or look on Amazon and eBay. I found one for a Yamaha for £40 but prices can vary widely for different engine manufacturers so shop around and you may have to source it from the US for the cheapest price.

I'm sure someone here on ribnet can tell you what compatible cables you can use for your Mariner/Simrad connection. Sometimes you can use a cross compatible cable.
