MOUNtING ELECTRIC MOTOR on BOW

Hi all, soon to done on the design that my 60LBS thrust Electric Motor will be mounted on the bow.

The steering will be electric and can be used while I'm sitting near stern.

The 3 reverse and 5 forward speeds will also be remote to be controlled from stern too.

Have it all apart right now and have begun to final phase of mounting once I build the bow cap.

Once done, I'll post it here w/pictures for all to see. Those of you interested in doing it for your SIB (or RIB) I make up a complete set of directions.

Total conversion cost, about: 60.00 CDN less the cost of the motor.

Bye the way I have already converted my CANNON Downrigger from Manual to electric for about 45 CDN. and Completely electrified my battery case, including Fish finder, 8 Switch/Fuse box and several outlets. So it all becomes One Unit and water proof.

Finally finished deigning and purchasing the parts for the to-be bow mounted 65 LBS thrust Trolling Motor's Electric Steering. Also, both steering and forward/reverse power controls will be mounted with a small hand-held enclosure that can be operated anywhere on the boat.
