Navionic transfer map SD card

Hi - I have some Navionics maps on SD cards. Is there any practical reason I won't be able to transfer the data onto new SD cards. I want to have the maps available on a second boat.

Be careful.

I know a few years ago they were set up to corrupt if you attempted to back them up.

Not sure what the situation is now?

You can back up positions and transfer those but not the map. You can't drive two boats at once so simply take the card out of the unit not being used.

It IS possible to back up your Navionics SD card by using a certain type of card and an Android device. Its tricky but works.

The rumour about corrupting the data by trying to copy them is rubbish.
