Navionics

A year since we first bought navionics for our lowrance hook reveal, we are getting emails asking us to renew our subscription and I wondered what other users do please?

The emails say renewing our subscription will allow us to continue using :
Dock-to-dock Autorouting2
Advanced Map Options
Plotter Sync

We are still learning to use the Lowrance. We mainly use it for depth and as a fish finder and are not sure if we need any of these options anyway?

I don’t bother. The unit & chart will work as before, you just don’t get the updates. For our level of boating it’s not necessary. Only my opinion naturally.

Thank you Dave. I thought that would be so.

Most people don't realise they are entitle to far more advanced chart details with some of the Avionics cards, however to use these more advanced seafloor charts you need to down load them and pay a yearly subscription. If you are happy using the basic charts then there's no need to pay for the updates.
