navman 8120 suitable transducer?
Ok, I have just purchased a navman 8120 fot my boat...It hasnt got a transducer with it so I now need to get one.
Now, I confess to knowing nothing about boat electronics so i thought I would someone who knows!
What is the difference between 1kw and 600w versions? Which do I go for. Its to be used for the fishfinder so do I get transom mount, in hull, plastic or bronze etc.
If anyone has specific model numbers and can tell me the cheapest place to get one that would be great.
