Navman/Northstar Smartcraft Gateway
I just bought a northstar SMARTCRAFT gateway on eBay (very cheap). At the time I was positive I had a navman Fish 4600 which is compatible but turns out I have the 4500 and tracker 5500 which are not compatible (dam ebay iphone app allows you bid from the bar stool!!!)
I have a Garmin chartplotter which I'm happy with as all maps etc are on it and only use the navman 5500 as a backup.
Anyone any advice on where to find a compatible unit (secondhand??) For the gateway??
The navman series are now discontinued (now northstar) but think the gateway feature would be pretty useful for viewing engine data.
