Navman "sun cover" wanted

I've just installed a Navman 4430 fish/depth finder in my boat. I flush mounted it in the console in the end cos it looks nicer. Can anyone tell me where I can buy a Navman "sun cover" as they call it for this model - its the white plastic cover thing.....(my radio came with one free so I don't know why they must charge extra for one for this...)

I have just bought one of these I received a suncover with it. I should ring your supplier as I thought all new navman kit comes with these white sun covers.

Good luck

Hi Narcosis
Have you had these Navman instuments before? How do you rate them? We got the 7200 vhf, 5380 tracker, and 4350 sonar. Apart from them looking pretty all together, are they reliable. Had heard a few on here having problems with misting up?

Tim
Wander down to the Plastimo Office
Navimo UK Ltd Hamilton Business Park Botley Road - Hedge End SOUTHAMPTON SO30 2HE
turn right as you go in the main entrance and slide into the room in front of you, looking like you own the place ( by pass RECEPTION ) and ask Paul in there for one . They had loads of them in a big box last time I was there .
They also hads loads of return items so you might pick up some other stuff if you do the 'poor student' routine!
Good luck and ' you aint seen me right'

Lurcher: thanks for that - Ill go and give it a go!

According to the manual its an optional extra with this model. I've been quoted £6.95 for one from a local chandlers. Really I think it should come with one becasue surely if would be in Navmans interests to supply them as standard as it would protect the device and is threfore less likely to go wrong and for me to claim on the warrentee!
