I have heard the Sony HAD CCD chip is very good! But at 540 quid I'd rather strap a video camera to my nut.

Gordon Compton had one on his boat for the Round Britain race, but it was a pre production version.

Couldn't agree more! I hate quick time movies too. I want to download and watch like you say. What good is porn unless it's viewed widescreen?

I didn't have to download, I'm trying to think where I have downloaded it. Is it the same plugin Microsoft where forcing on you when you visit microsoft.com?

I think this would do just as well in most cases and a lot cheaper too.

Some of the Video on the website is taken from on board shorts of my Zapcat while racing. I must admit I was very impressed didnt know it was there when I had it on my helmet. Also was very impressed when I went through a good 8ftft bit of surf mid race only to emerge out the other side to see the camera and memory pack all in tact and still in its mount.

I think the footage of that is on the site as well.

I am really impressed with the quality of the footage. The ATC cams have habit of producing wavy lines across the screen, and the other type sport cams are a bit messy with all the wiring. All the pro cams and recorders are around £500. It is expensive but i guess you get what you pay for eh?
