New VHF Licence

Has anyone been able to navigate the new Ofcom website?
Been through it all get VHF licence for Lunasea, including having to re-regisiter all pages showing green, but it says "form incomplete" when I go to finish
The equipment page has all sorts of kit with default 1 - I have kept VHF DSC as "1" and set everything else to 0. When I scroll back to that page all is set to default 1 again. It doesn't say what page is not complete

Am I being stupid or is it the website?

Well I was being a bit stupid.......maybe.

When you get to the page where it asks about the equipment, I was trying to set the number of devices against the list.

What you have to do it set the correct number against the item - in my case "DSC VHF" "1" THEN click ADD against that line which moves the item into a box at the top of the page, and it is what gets moved into that box that gets authorised / licensed.

Simples when you know how, although when I last tried it the "Add" button didn't seem to do anything.

Spoke to a very nice helpful chap at Ofcom - straight through, no long queues- , and suggested that a few "help" boxes on the new web pages might help numpties like me.

So now have license for "Lunasea" and MMSI No. Cool.

I agree, its not a very user-friendly site. I have added 3 vhf radios over the years & every time had a problem! Best off phoning them up! They are very helpful.

I did my license a couple of months ago without issue on their site. Only problem arose when the pdf of the license was rejected as a junk email by my isp. When I called offcom there was no automated queuing system and the phone was answered by a very helpful chap who re emailed it as we spoke.

Fairly good service all in all.
