NMEA connection
I need to add an NMEA device into a new boat, been advised to use N2K Tee the code given is:
CONNECTOR, N2K TEE #010-11078-00
Am I correct that any NMEA 2000 compatible Tee will be OK, I can find plenty of Garmin Tees, but not NTK

If you’re just adding a new device to an existing N2K network, then any N2K “T” will do. I’ve got some Lowrance Ts spare if you’re interested. I can drop you one in the post for a tenner.

I used one of these in my console.

It's more than PD's tenner but it does give you a bit of future proofing.

Happy to buy from you ..... there is also a 2nd part to this.
<div>
Boat install is standard NMEA 2000 backbone wiring scheme, hence NMEA Tee. This uses 5 pin round branch connector.
The instrument I ‘m adding uses Deutsch DT06-04S connectors. (rectangular 4 pin) – pic here:

Interesting, is it an engine interface you’re adding?

Cheers, the send email thingy doesn’t seem to work for me. I might have it switched off in preferences. I’ve sent you a PM.
