NMEA to WiFi device on Kickstarter

People may be interested in a project just coming up on Kickstarter for a low cost NMEA0183 to WiFi interface. Have a look at NMEA Tools Home for more info.

AIS/NMEA/WiFi device

You also need to ad in the cost of a 12V -> 5V power supply, as it is powered by 5V.

There is a comparison on NMEA to Wi-Fi devices here, with some of the things to look for and the pros and cons: NMEA Tools - Competitor Comparison

People may want to know that this is going live on Kickstarter at 1600 today. There will be a limited number of devices for just £50 each. As soon as it is live, there will be a link to the Kickstarter page from NMEA Tools Home

Got my QK-A026 recently, it supports UDP as well as TCP and worked well with my iPad.
