I suspect not - 5 year battery v 6 year. Mind you, I don't know the replacement cost - so it's debatable...

Good spot, the product is actually a 6 yr battery (according to manuf.) so perhaps Seamarknunn have old stock. Although these guys seem to have them at the same price (and advertised as 6 yrs): Kannad Safelink Solo GPS - Compact PLB, Accessories Included-Marine Super Store

Now imagine how much cheaper it would be if we bought them as a group
