Owong is the working life of a chart plotter 5, 10 years? That is the question. Is there atone to change.

I suspect it's more limited by the support and the map formats not being changed.

Colour plotters haven't really been in common use long enough to make a guesstimate.

I've got a 10 year old black and white Lowrance here that still works ok, but the display is a bit harder to read than I'd like.

A few wrong letters maybe the amber glows! I am up at Tayvallich making last minute discovery like no power to radio, plotter & pump. Havnt found How to edit on my iPhone Keeping watch on wx. Cheers
