Portable stereo?

Anyone use the Fusion portable stereo on their Rib?
They look good and have a removable mounting plate which i like the look of.
Not cheap but seem a good option if you don't want a full install system.
Sound quality?

Also been looking into one to plug a hydrophone so we can listen and record whales, finding it hard to get any real people reviews on them.

Just bought a Harman Kardon esquire 2 for 1/4 the price and figured I would just put it in a bag if it looks like getting wet.
