Looked at Lowrance Broadband Radar today to add to HDS 8 I ordered a couple of weeks ago, if it ever arrives!

Does any one have any experience with this system?

Thanks.
Try PMing 250 or Andre on here . 250 has this on Sea safari and I only 'used' it a few times but was impressed and understand Andre fitted it to several Parkers and was involved in the testing/ reviews.

one of the 2009 issues of the Sports Boat and Rib magazine featured an article about the broadband radar. This was written following the European launch of this new radar in Lymington. One of our ribs was fitted with the Simrad broadband radar was used during this presentation. Let me have your email address and I can email you a copy of the article.

RIBase
Tidy As a radar novice I find overlaying the radar plot onto the chart gives me a better perspective of what's around me.
