Radio holster to suit Standard Horizon HX300E
I know this type of question comes up from time to time but I can't see an answer on the forum to my specific query.
Does anyone using a Standard Horizon HX300E or similar small handheld have a holster or pouch that fits the radio in a snug way they could recommend?

Radio harness
We use one for our Standard Horizon HX851 handheld. It was about £10 and fits most handhelds.

I like the design of Jambo's as the Baltic looks as if a smaller radio like mine could escape. I see searching around there are A/B/C/D versions of Jambo's with small differences but on all the dimansions would bring the plastic buckle across the display and I wonder if this would cause rub marks.
Is that an issue on yours Billy?
I can't believe that Googling "Marine VHF pouch" doen't bring up a large selection of handy red/orange/yellow pouches of differeing sizes/styles.

Curiously, Google works more better for stoopid people - try searching "radio pouch"...

Hi David. No problem I have mine hooked in the LJ
They are away from the vhf. Looped thru the belt of the LJ wither hooks angled away onto the LJ. Only the catch over the top touches the vhf. Unfortunately I'm at home and the LJ is at Tayvallich. The hooks only really come into play when you wear as an over the shoulder harness. If like me you wear it thru the belt they are redundant but I use one as a back up security to the LJ.
Hope this helps

Willk "radio pouch" brought me to a lot of camo and frequent use of the word tatical... they'd be wanting me to stock up on tinned beans and ammo too I guess.
Jeff using the image tab on your search led me to Amazon and a similar MSC-20B pouch to Jambo's for £5.99 delivered. All the Ebay ones seemed to be direct from China but the Amazon one was UK stock.
Even better I don't have an Amazon account but the Mrs does... and she leaves it signed in!

Thanks BM.. I'd noticed the snaps looked like plastic so will consider this when it arrives.

Well the Jambo advised MSC-20B arrived this morning. Totally satisfied for the price (£5 or so from dozens of Ebay/Amazon sellers). As BM says the plastic snaps on the harness could pull open but could easily be replaced with metal or another strap if wished.
Despite the Standard Horizon HX300E being small it only just fits if you have the belt clip on the back of the radio (see comparison pics)... and you really need to keep the clip fitted as it is the place the lanyard attaches. I'll just need to find a slightly longer bungee for the case closure as it's very tight and might be fiddly with wet fingers.
But overall it's positive.
BTW I love the instruction sheet header which describes this as a... New design of multifarious wear interphone sheath.
