Navionics Gold is the one for the C series. They will work with platinum but wont display the 3D cartography, so you might as well save money & buy the gold. The actual charts are the same.

Normally the cards are retained by the seller. I've never sold mine on unless specifically requested and agree by the buyer.
But as Pikey Dave has said, just get the navionics gold cards as the C series cant display the fancy photos on the platinum ones.
